The air defense forces destroyed 30 drones on approach to Moscow, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
"Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote.
Prior to that, Sobyanin had already reported the destruction of two drones flying to the capital since the beginning of the day.
Rosaviatsia reported that Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Ramenskoye (Zhukovsky), and Sheremetyevo airports temporarily restricted the ability to receive and release flights. This is necessary to ensure flight safety, the regulator explained.
