A Lithuanian spy was detained in Belarus. This was reported by ONT TV channel in his film "Ringo.
It is reported that we are talking about Miroslavas Trotskis, born in 1990. He is a citizen of Lithuania, previously served in the border guard service at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as in the traffic police. It is noted that the man was trained at the border school in Myadininkai and has experience in law enforcement agencies. He has also been married to a citizen of Belarus since 2020.
According to the information disclosed, Trotskis regularly visited relatives in Belarus as a child, but stopped traveling after their death. Over time, he connected his life with the service in Lithuania and engaged in various activities, including entrepreneurship, but did not achieve stable success in business. The turning point was the story of the discovery of firearms on a boat, after which the man ended up in prison and came to the attention of unknown persons. He was contacted by people who introduced themselves as employees of government agencies and offered cooperation. The film says that Trotskyis was instructed to collect information about the military infrastructure of Belarus.
"That is, military units, movements, training grounds, medical personnel, numbers and everything that is possible to learn about this country," the agent himself said.
According to the data voiced in the film, the defendant received his first assignment in 2024. He entered Belarus under the pretext of restoring his father's house. The main method of work was hiding places where Trotskys left money and digital media with information for Lithuanian agents in the country. The amount of the sums, according to the KGB, ranged from $ 6 to 8 thousand. After the bookmark, he memorized the coordinates and transmitted the data to the curators after returning.
The film also said that the activities of a Lithuanian citizen were under the supervision of the Belarusian special services from the moment they crossed the border. In the course of operational work, his actions related to the collection of information on the military, law enforcement and socio-political spheres were documented.
"I realized that I was used as a resource. He broke the life of himself and his loved ones. They constantly convinced me that I was a valuable shot, that is, I was needed," the agent said.
In the final part of the film, it was emphasized that cooperation with foreign special services is considered a threat to the national security of Belarus and such actions entail criminal liability.
