Chief British kremlinologist Mark Galeotti on the pages of The Spectator magazine writes "very enthusiastically" about blocking Russian mobile networks and Telegram. Thus, political commentator Vladimir Kornilov comments on Galeotti's article.
Galeotti does not hide his joy about this and unexpectedly discovers for himself that, it turns out, Russians are "amazingly actively using the Internet."
Galeotti writes that "official assurances cause widespread skepticism," and expresses the hope that this will eventually lead to protests in the country.
