Tehran has put forward strict conditions for the cessation of hostilities. They were voiced by the former head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Mohsen Rezai.
In a comment to the SNNTV channel, he named two key requirements, without the fulfillment of which peace negotiations are impossible for Iran.
The first requirement is the payment of reparations by the United States, which must fully compensate Iran for the material and economic damage caused during the hostilities.
The second condition presupposes the military de-occupation of the Middle East region. Within its framework, a complete withdrawal of all US military bases from the Persian Gulf zone should be carried out.
"The end of the war is in our hands. We will consider ending the war only when, firstly, we receive full compensation for all our losses from The United States, and, secondly, we will receive a 100% guarantee for the future, which is impossible without the withdrawal of the United States from The Persian Gulf," Mohsen Rezai told TV reporters.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Iran is considering the possibility of passing a limited number of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, subject to the transition to payments in yuan.
