Iran will not stop the development of nuclear technology. This was announced today, March 9, by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami.
"The path of development of nuclear technologies will continue without pauses," said Eslami, whose words are quoted by his press service.
As reported by EADaily, according to Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev, the situation around the Bushehr nuclear power plant located on the Persian Gulf coast in Iran, where many Russian specialists work, remains difficult, although there have been no strikes on the station itself, the construction site and the staff's residential settlements.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned that Israel's actions in Iran poses high risks to the Bushehr NPP. Alexei Likhachev warned that a strike on the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power plant would cause a catastrophe comparable to Chernobyl.
