The US military struck an Iranian drone carrier ship, according to the Central Command US Armed Forces.
The United States sank more than 30 Iranian ships, Admiral Brad Cooper, the head of the command, reported on February 27.
"An Iranian drone carrier ship, about the size of an aircraft carrier from World War II, was attacked and is now engulfed in flames," the command said in a statement.
It is unclear whether this ship is among the 30 hit, which was reported earlier.
On February 28, the United States and Israel began to strike targets in Iran, including Tehran, with reports of destruction and deaths of civilians. Iran strikes back at Israeli territory, as well as at US military facilities in the Middle East.
