"American officials are ready for potential suicide attacks, as well as for new missile strikes on American facilities and personnel abroad in response to the ongoing military operation in Iran. The attackers may also try to attack American facilities and personnel with improvised explosive devices mounted on vehicles, the source added, noting that Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Qatar," the channel's material says.
According to the source, US officials have also strengthened security measures at the headquarters of various government agencies and other places inside the country that could be the target of possible attacks.
The channel also notes that the FBI has stepped up monitoring of possible threats both domestically and abroad.
The United States and Israel on Saturday began striking targets in Iran, including Tehran, reports of destruction and civilian deaths. Iran is carrying out retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory, as well as on US military facilities in the Middle East.
