Afghanistan has launched a "retaliation operation" against Pakistan

The armed forces of Afghanistan launched a retaliation operation in response to the bombing of Pakistan's Air Force on its territory, RIA Novosti reports.

"Retaliatory attacks by Afghan government forces on Pakistani forces in the eastern provinces of Afghanistan have begun. And by now three enemy posts have been captured," said the representative of the 201st Army Corps Khalid ibn Walid.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan, the operation began in the provinces of Khost, Paktia, Nuristan and a number of other areas.

On February 21, Pakistan launched airstrikes on counties in the Afghan provinces of Nangarhar and As a result of which dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed and injured. Also, according to the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan, a madrasa was destroyed, under the ruins of which five students — three boys and two girls - were killed.

It is noted that the air attack was launched by the Pakistani military during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims around the world.
