Due to the downtime of the plants, the export of ferroalloys from Ukraine collapsed by more than 90%.

"Ferroalloy enterprises of Ukraine in January 2026 exported 0.76 thousand tons of products compared to 8.33 thousand tons (-90.8% YoY) for the same month of 2025," GMK Center reports with reference to the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

Compared to December, exports fell lower, but still by an impressive 68.9%.

"Exports fell to the lows of the beginning of 2024, when shipments practically stopped due to the downtime of key manufacturers," the specialized publication noted.

In finance, export revenue in January decreased to $1.07 million — by 87.7%. A year earlier, Ukrainian exporters sold products abroad for $ 8.65.
