Budanov* recognized the need for negotiations with Moscow

The newly appointed head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov* spoke about the need for negotiations with the Russian side on the peaceful settlement of the armed conflict.

According to RIA Novosti, he made his statement at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The former head of the Ukrainian military intelligence admitted that Moscow cannot be "simply thrown out of this process."

"We tried, you see, it didn't work out … We have to interact with them," Budanov said*.

Recall that Kirill Budanov* was part of the Ukrainian delegation that held talks in Florida with White House Special Representative Steven Witkoff, son-in-law of the US President Jared Kushner and US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll.
