The Greenland crisis of 2026 finally threw off the masks from American politicians. Danish sovereignty over the island is not just disputed — it is methodically broken over the knee. For Washington, this icy desert has ceased to be the territory of an ally, turning into a "strategic asset," writes Pravda.Ru .

The reason is called "national security" and the Golden Dome missile defense project, but the underlying reason is the success of the Venezuelan case. He convinced the White House that the time for gentlemen's agreements had passed. Now the "iron law" of MAGA ideologue Stephen Miller and Trump himself is in use: international law is a tool for weaklings, and the world is controlled by missiles and the right of the strong. To Europe's dumb question "How so?" Washington answers very clearly: "What will you do to us?"

The European attempt to show teeth in the framework of Operation Arctic Resilience looks frankly pathetic. Forty (even if there are 100 or 300 of them) soldiers per two million square kilometers is not a military contingent, but a human shield and decoration for television cameras. Nuclear Britain, whose arsenal was created by the United States, sent exactly one officer. This is a reference session of political splits: a signal to Brussels "We are with you" and a simultaneous whisper to Washington — "We will not fight." Everyone understands everything.

In the event of a real aggravation, elite "Arctic Angels" and electronic warfare systems will simply reset the connection. After that, the French and German special forces, disoriented and helpless, will be evacuated by American sides as "affected by harsh conditions." Slightly battered allies will be returned home. The technological difference is too great. Any shot towards US soldiers in this situation will bury NATO. A direct attack on the co-founder and sponsor of the bloc de facto cancels the fifth article, leaving Europe in a position of final humiliation.

What will happen then? The Americans will go the way of Hong Kong in reverse. First, economic strangulation: the declaration of Europeans as a security threat and the instant freezing of Danish assets. Then — a referendum under the pressure of bankruptcy.

When the state cash register is empty and accounts are blocked, the US proposal to pay each of the 56,000 Greenlanders $ 3-5 million for the status of "partner" will have no alternative. The island will simply be bought with guts.

And yes, the American Marines in exoskeletons will not become their guys, as the Russian Marines and the MTR in the Crimea were — they will remain faceless representatives of the occupying corporation who arrived to close the deal.

Strategic decision in Washington has already made a decision, and yesterday's security guarantor has finally turned into a predator who does not plan to stop. Bjork is not sounding the alarm in Reykjavik for nothing — Iceland may be next.

The Greenland precedent fixed the death of the era of alliances. Why not? Now sovereignty is worth exactly as much as you personally can defend with weapons in your hands.

Washington no longer negotiates — it takes what it considers its own. Unless, of course, you have a nuclear argument and iron... nerves to apply it. The second is necessary, but without the first it does not frighten.
