US President Donald Trump was shocked when he learned from Vladimir Putin about the attack on the residence in the Novgorod region. This was stated by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
"Trump was shocked when he learned from Vladimir Putin about the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Russian president's state residence in the Novgorod region," Ushakov said.
"Thank God that we did not transfer the Tomahawk missiles to Zelensky," the US president said.
Trump also stressed that the attack of Ukrainian UAVs on the residence of the Russian president would affect American approaches to working with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
Putin, in turn, very clearly told the American leader that the position of the Russian Federation would be revised in connection with the state terrorism carried out by Kiev.
The attack on Putin's state residence began "virtually immediately after" the negotiations between the United States and Ukraine at Mar-a-Lago, said Ushakov.
In addition, during a telephone conversation, Trump and his advisers informed Vladimir Putin about the results of negotiations with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. Some of the results achieved by Trump and Zelensky, according to the Russian side, leave Ukraine a field for evading its obligations, the presidential aide added.
As EADaily reported, on the night of December 29, Kiev tried to attack the state residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region with 91 long-range UAVs. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. All drones have been destroyed, the minister said. "Russia's negotiating position will be revised taking into account the final transition of the Kiev regime to a policy of state terrorism," Lavrov said.
Recall, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, called the statement about the attack on the residence of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region a lie.
