JSC Concern Kalashnikov in a press release reported on the fulfillment of the annual state order for the supply of 30-mm aviation automatic guns GSH-301. These weapons are also called "Ballerinas", since the guns have an "exemplary" weight of 44 kg for ballet dancers.
"Ballerinas" in the professional environment are appreciated for their lightness and rate of fire.
Kalashnikov is already working on the next order for 2026. GSH-301 is being put on MiG-29 and Su-35 fighters, Su-34 bombers and other military equipment.
