The British Guardian newspaper, citing American sources, claims that a group of American generals is likely to fly to Moscow at the end of next week to discuss the US plan for a Ukrainian settlement.
"A group of American generals will probably fly to Moscow at the end of next week to discuss a peace plan," the publication says.
The White House said that negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement are continuing, there is a plan that is approved by the American leader Donald Trump. Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, said that Moscow had not officially received information about the US plan. According to him, there are certain considerations of the American side, but nothing is being discussed in detail at the moment. At the same time, Russia remains fully open to peace talks and remains on the platform of discussions that took place between the leaders of the Russian Federation and the United States in Anchorage.
Peskov added that the Kiev regime should make a responsible decision and start negotiating, the space for freedom of decision-making for Kiev is shrinking as the territory is lost. At the same time, speaking about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces, Peskov said that this is forcing Vladimir Zelensky and his regime to a peaceful solution, the continuation of which is senseless and dangerous for Kiev.
