Moscow no longer intends to play "one gate" with Western countries, this will no longer happen, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Thus, he commented on the decisions of NATO countries to increase their military spending, speaking at a press conference after a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Union.
"Why, what happened? How did this happen? What is their fault? As if they are babies who were born only yesterday. That won't do, this one-goal game is over. The military wants to increase their spending, let them increase it, but this also indicates their aggressiveness," the president stated.
At the same time, he admitted his meeting with US President Donald Trump. Putin noted that he has great respect for the head of the White House. The Russian leader expressed his conviction that the efforts of the US president to resolve the conflict on the Ukraine is sincere.
Earlier, EADaily reported that European politicians began to realize that the situation in Ukraine had reached the level of unbearable consequences. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
