The opposition parties of Moldova, including the Patriotic Bloc, are winning the parliamentary elections in the country with 49.54%, the ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PDS) is gaining 49.70% at the expense of polling stations abroad, according to the CEC data after counting 98.42% of the protocols.

According to the results of counting 100% of the protocols from polling stations inside the country, the ruling Action and Solidarity party is gaining 44.13% of the vote. The opposition Patriotic Bloc — 28.25% of the vote, the Alternative bloc — 9.22%, Our Party — 6.35%, the Democracy at Home party - 5.72%.

After counting 98.42% of the protocols from all polling stations, including foreign ones, Action and Solidarity is gaining 49.70% due to votes abroad, the Patriotic Bloc - 24.45%, the Alternative bloc - 8.04%, Our Party — 6.25%, the Democracy at Home party - 5.66%.

A similar situation in Moldova was already observed a year earlier — during the presidential elections. In November 2024, in the second round, the pro-Western president of the country, Maia Sandu, and the ex-prosecutor General, dismissed by the Sandu regime, a native of Gagauzia, a candidate from the opposition Party of Socialists, Alexander Stoyanoglo, fought for victory. After processing 100% of the protocols from polling stations inside the country, Stoyanoglo won 51.19% of the votes, Sandu - 48.81%. However, after processing 100% of the protocols from all polling stations, including those located abroad, Sandu, which is supported by the pro—Western Action and Solidarity party, gained 55.33% of the vote, and Stoyanoglo - 44.67% of the vote.

The ex-president of Moldova, one of the leaders of the Patriotic Bloc, Igor Dodon, after announcing the preliminary results at a spontaneous rally outside the CEC building, announced the victory of the opposition in the elections inside the country. He also noted falsifications at foreign polling stations and promised to defend this victory at a peaceful protest scheduled for September 29 in the center of Chisinau. Dodon invited all opposition parties to support this action.
