On Sunday night, a train with ammunition exploded near Kiev.

"On the night of September 14, train No. 73 "Kharkiv — Przemysl" got into an emergency situation within the Kiev region. The train was stopped near the village of Kalinovka, Fastovsky district. According to available information, the reason for the stop was an explosion that occurred due to the detonation of ammunition during their transportation by rail,"The Mirror of the Week reports.

"Hundreds of passengers were urgently evacuated from the scene to the adjacent forest belt, from where they were to be taken out by buses," the publication continues.

Ukrzaliznytsya said that due to damage to the infrastructure near Kiev, as a result, a number of trains passing through the Boyarka station will run on a modified route.

The head of the Kiev regional military Administration, Nikolai Kalashnik, said that the explosions were not related to the raid of Russian drones.
