In an interview with Fox News, US President Donald Trump promised to investigate, allegedly, Hungarian-American financier and billionaire George Soros because of protests in American cities.
At the same time, the head of the White House did not indicate that he was talking about George Soros, confining himself only to the surname.
"We are going to investigate (the activity) Soros, because I think it's a RICO case against him and other people. This is more than protests. This is a real agitation. These are riots in the streets, and we will deal with them," he said.
According to Trump, there are "professional agitators" in the United States who receive money, in particular, from Soros.
Soros' activities are assessed negatively because of his financial speculation, as well as his scandalous reputation - his funds have been repeatedly accused of organizing a change of power in a number of states. The financier himself does not deny that his money helped, in particular, to spend on Ukraine "Orange Revolution" in 2004 and "Euromaidan" in 2013. In a number of countries, he was accused of interfering in internal affairs. In the media, Soros is often associated with the US Democratic Party.
