Speaking today, August 20, at a press conference in Minsk-Mazovetsky, Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh said that "most likely, we are talking about a crashed drone." He added that a detailed pyrotechnic examination is being carried out to determine whether the drone was used for military or smuggling purposes, or whether it could have been part of a sabotage operation.

"According to the information I have received, there are no signs on it yet that would immediately indicate its military nature, so we should not exclude the possibility that we are dealing with a smuggled drone. And we should not exclude what happened in other countries — acts of sabotage, that is, actions related to sabotage, sabotage on the territory of the Republic of Poland," the minister said.

The initial report of the operational commander showed that the radar systems did not record any violations of Polish airspace. According to the minister, these data will still be checked.

The conference was also attended by the Lublin voivode Krzysztof Komorski. He specified that three buildings were damaged as a result of the explosion.

"Everyone can feel safe. At the moment there is no threat, the radiation level has been checked and measured," Komorski said, adding that residents can count on psychological support.
