The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demanded monetary compensation from Russia for the damage caused to Ukraine during the fighting. This is reported by the Financial Times (FT), referring to a certain document.
It follows from the publication that the amount of reparations should amount to $ 300 billion. It is assumed that it can be paid to Kiev at the expense of the sovereign assets of the Russian Federation frozen in Western countries.
The document also talks about the prospect of easing anti-Russian sanctions. It is argued that it should happen only if Moscow strictly abides by the peace agreement and "play a fair game." At the same time, Zelensky also rejected the proposal to freeze the front line.
As EADaily reported, earlier US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced his desire to reach an agreement to resolve the conflict on Ukraine at a trilateral meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin, American Leader Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky.
