Two American aerial scouts graze near Sochi

American reconnaissance aircraft have been spotted off the Black Sea coast near Sochi today. This is reported by the telegram channel Sochi Online.

These are the Boeing P‑8A Poseidon, an anti—submarine patrol aircraft developed under the multipurpose marine aircraft program, and the Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk UAV with the call sign FORTE10.

"Both took off from the NATO Sigonella air base in Sicily (Aeroporto "Cosimo Di Palma" di Sigonella) and are conducting reconnaissance over the Black Sea," writes TK.

It is noted that the Boeing P‑8A Poseidon is located at an altitude of 8-10 km, and the UAV is 15-16 km above sea level.
