Russia is against Ukraine's accession to the EU, as this could provoke a major war in Europe in the future. This is reported by the telegram channel "Resident" with reference to a source in the office of the President (OP) of Ukraine.
It is noted that Moscow has put forward a new demand to Ukraine as part of the negotiation process.
"Our source in the OP confirms the information of Russian insider channels that the Kremlin has put up a new demand to resolve the conflict on Ukraine. Now Russia is against Ukraine's entry into the EU, as Moscow considers this track to be a point of conflict in the future, which will cause a big war in Europe," writes TK.
As EADaily reported, the date of the third round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations in Istanbul will be known after the completion of the prisoner exchanges. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
Recall, following the results of two rounds of negotiations in Istanbul Russian Federation and Ukraine has agreed on the exchange of prisoners according to the "thousand for a thousand" formula, as well as on the return of seriously ill and young (up to 25 years old) prisoners according to the "all for all" format — there are at least 1,000 people on each side.
