Everything was clear about the strikes on Iran: the Pentagon's decisions are predicted by pizza orders

Are mass pizza orders in the Pentagon area harbingers of international crises? Users of the social network X in the United States claim that by the number of orders in pizzerias located in the vicinity of the Pentagon, it was possible to predict an Israeli attack on Iran, writes Bild columnist Robert Becker.

About an hour before the first explosions in Tehran, the account in the social network X Pentagon Pizza Report recorded a noticeable increase in food delivery orders in the area of the US Department of Defense.Assessment: the Pentagon was in full swing — and the pizza index sounded the alarm!

"Since 18:59, almost all pizzerias in the vicinity of the Pentagon have recorded a sharp increase in activity," the investigators wrote on the pizza order index on Thursday evening (local time).

Even the nearby bar was unusually empty—another sign of an unusually busy night at the ministry. The theory is this: if an international crisis is coming, many Pentagon employees are forced to work overtime — and order pizza.

Already during the Israeli attack on Iran last year, the number of orders in the Pentagon area increased dramatically. Also before the US invasion of Panama in 1989 and the war in In Iraq in 1991, the demand for pizza was noticeably high, as various reports show. The reason: The Pentagon has its own fast food, but there are no pizzerias. And when you need a quick snack, pizza comes to the rescue, according to The Takeout gastronomic platform.

On Friday morning, the very moment came: Israel attacked with the help of about 200 fighter jets targets in Iran, including the capital Tehran, the nuclear facility in Natanz and several military facilities. In the evening, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced that Israel would continue its attack on Iran "with full force."

Iran regarded the attack as a "declaration of war" and announced retaliatory measures. The head of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, confirmed the threats against Israel.

"The armed forces will act decisively and destroy the vile Zionist regime," the religious leader said in a statement read on state television.
