Iran accuses the United States of complicity in the attack, the IRNA news agency reports. Iran summoned the Swiss ambassador to convey a warning to the United States about the Israeli attack.
"The United States must be held accountable for its illegal behavior," Iranian representative Nadine Lozano told the Swiss ambassador in Tehran.
Iran also warned the United States against any support for Israel in the course of Tehran's retaliatory actions, "including attempts to prevent Iran from exercising its right to legitimate defense."
