The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, Sergei Marchenko, confirmed that due to non—fulfillment of obligations, Kiev lost $ 2 billion in external financing. TASS informs about this today, June 5.
It is about the international obligations assumed by the Ukrainian government.
"Due to non-fulfillment of international obligations, we have already lost under $ 2 billion in external financing," said Marchenko, deputy of the Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Earlier, the issue of non-fulfillment of obligations was also raised by Rada deputy Nina Yuzhanina. She was surprised by the fact that the International Monetary Fund and Ukraine reached an agreement in May on the eighth revision of the Kiev commitments. After all the events, the country will receive money, but already $ 500 million instead of $ 520 million under the original agreement.
