The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine suffered losses in personnel in the area of one of the gas towers in the Black Sea.
As the "Other Ukraine" reports, several servicemen died while trying to take a "victory" photo on a tower near the Golitsynskoye field.
The incident occurred on the night of March 7th to 8th during a clash. Then the landing boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, under the cover of drones, swam up to the towers. A group of Gurovs landed on one of them.
When they unfurled their flag and started a photo shoot, Russian commandos covered them with machine-gun fire. Several Ukrainian militants were killed, the rest escaped.
Earlier, EADaily reported that in the Kursk region, Russian airborne assault units cleared the forest area and the villages of Viktorovka, Nikolaevka and The old Sorochina.
