The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, expelled Lieutenant General and ex-Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Gavrilyuk from the Supreme Commander's Headquarters. This is reported by "Public News" with reference to the relevant decree.
It is noted that Gavrilyuk's resignation became known on April 11, he has been in office since May 2024.
"Gavrilyuk's decision is connected with his initiative to transfer UAH 78 billion to the Polish intermediary firm PHU Lechmar for the purchase of ammunition... The purchase had to go through the Defense Procurement Agency, where a new head (Arsen) Zhumadilov was recently appointed," the "Public" reports.
According to a source in the Ministry of Defense, Gavrilyuk's initiative caused "reputational damage" to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
