In Kazakhstan, officials will be punished for misconduct committed while working in previous positions. This is reported by informburo.kz .
According to the agency, the corresponding amendment was made to the presidential decree on some issues of public service.
"A political civil servant is brought to disciplinary responsibility for committing a disciplinary offense in a previous public position," the document says.
It is reported that previous employers will investigate violations.
According to the amendments, this measure will apply to both political and administrative positions. At the same time, the state body in which the offense was committed is now obliged to notify the new place of work of the official about the start of the official investigation within three working days.
If, after reviewing the case, the commission decides to impose a disciplinary penalty on the civil servant, the agency must also notify its new management within five days.
