The Ukrainian authorities failed in their attempt to break through a new corridor with drones for strikes on important Russian rear facilities, said Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on crimes of the Kiev regime, commenting on the destruction of more than 100 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Bryansk region.
"An attempt to break through a new corridor for strikes on important rear facilities turned out to be blocked by our air defenses," Miroshnik wrote in his telegram channel.
He added that the result of the APU attack in the city of Bryansk was the death of a civilian. Another resident was injured, she was promptly taken to the hospital.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 115 Ukrainian drones overnight, 102 of them over the territory of the Bryansk region.
