The United States Ambassador to Ukraine's Bridget Brink is going to resign early, although Secretary of State Marco Rubio offered her to stay. It is reported by CBS News, citing sources.
According to the channel, Brink has already made farewell calls to colleagues, and she submitted her resignation back in January, after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, as part of the standard rotation. It is noted that then Rubio rejected Brink's statement because he did not plan to change it.
"Her resignation is due to an unusual combination of personal and political problems, including recent cuts at USAID. In addition, Brink is serving in a war zone, away from his family, since Kiev is on the list of capitals where American diplomats serve without bringing their families with them," said a source quoted by Strana.
As reported by EADaily, the reaction of the US Embassy to Ukraine for a missile strike RF Armed Forces by Krivoy Rog is unpleasantly surprised. This was stated in the social network X by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
So he commented on the post of US ambassador to Bridget Brink, who called for the end of the war, without mentioning Russia. Note that later she fixed this "flaw".
