According to the US Treasury, tariffs for goods from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are 10% each.
According to the American side, such high duties on Kazakh products were a retaliatory measure, since Kazakhstan allegedly has tariffs on American goods in the amount of 54%. At the same time, this is not confirmed by any official information.
In 2024, Kazakhstan exported goods worth a record $ 1.97 billion to the United States. These are mainly oil, uranium, ferroalloys and silver. In the structure of Kazakhstan's exports, the United States occupies 2.4%.
During the same period, the United States supplied $2.24 billion worth of goods to Kazakhstan, which is 3.4% of the country's total imports.
