Australia does not rule out the possibility of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
It is premature to talk about such a step, but the country is considering this possibility, he noted.
After a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Albanese stressed that "peacekeepers cannot be sent if there is no peace." Australia supports Ukraine "very clearly and consistently" and will continue to provide assistance to it, he added.
"In the near future, Australia will send its representative to the meeting of the defense ministers of Germany, France, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom, which will be held on Tuesday, March 11, in Paris. Further support for Ukraine will be discussed there," the Bild telegram channel in Russian writes*.
