Ukraine sells property stolen from Belarus

Ukraine has sold more than 4 thousand tons of potash fertilizers produced by Belaruskali OJSC. This was reported by the Ukrainian Agency for Asset Search and Management (ARMA).

"The production of Belaruskali OJSC, located in 61 railway cars, with a volume of 4299 tons of potassium chloride, has been sold. The total amount of sales amounted to UAH 45,516,321 ($ 1.08 million), including customs payments," the report says.

It is noted that this is another batch of 30.4 thousand tons of Belarusian potassium, arrested by the Ukrainian authorities. On February 25, another 50 wagons of fertilizers worth $ 869 thousand were sold. In January 2025, ARMA earned $ 2.68 million on the sale of Belarusian fertilizers.

"This implementation is part of the systematic work of the National Agency for the management of seized assets, which allows filling the state budget and maintaining the defense capability of Ukraine through the mechanism of purchasing military bonds," the Ukrainian structure said.

Recall, after the start of a special military operation, all assets of Belarus that appeared on Ukrainian territory were arrested. Including the property of three asphalt concrete plants, a subsidiary of Belorusneft, railway wagons, cars and equipment. ARMA announced the start of a large-scale auction for the sale of 30,431 tons of potassium chloride (433 wagons) by Belaruskali OJSC in December 2024.
