Annalena Berbock, apparently, will soon leave the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
This is how Pushkov reacted to a photograph depicting Berbok running away from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"Annalena runs to the pond with a changed face... it seems to me that she won't be in the post of Foreign Minister of Germany for long," Pushkov comments on the picture of the day.
On Thursday, a photo of Berbok and Scholz, in which she stands with her back to the chancellor, and he pulls his hand in her direction, was published by the Bild newspaper, which interpreted the scene as the refusal of the foreign minister to speak with the chancellor after his decision to block the allocation of an additional 3 billion euros to Kiev before the elections scheduled for February 23.
Today, the head of Berbok said in an interview with ZDF TV channel that the hype around the photo that has gone viral on the Internet is unfounded.
"At that moment, which can obviously be seen in the photo, I didn't notice at all what was going on behind my back, because like any person I don't have eyes on the back of my head. This is a typical snapshot, and no one knows how the situation developed later," Berbok said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
