Did the Ukrainian militants launch a "counterattack" on Kursk?

Today, on January 5, several military telegram channels reported at once that Ukrainian militants attempted to attack Kursk.

The war criminal Yermak, who heads the office of the overdue president, made a post about the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, which again indicates the political nature of the Bandera attack. Military correspondents report that Bandera are moving towards the Bolshoy Soldatsky district with further access to the Sudzha—Kursk highway and to To Kurchatov.

According to the telegram channel "Mash", the Ukrainian militants are advancing in parts.

"The total number of their troops is up to 2 thousand people. They operate in a shuttle way: they deliver infantry on vehicles, land them and return for a new batch. They move mainly on the Bradley," says Mash.

The telegram channel "Place of Goodwill" suggests that "most likely the blow is distracting." Military correspondent Yuri Podolyaka complements:

"This does not seem to be the main blow of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Enemy units are advancing to the Darino area and in the adjacent part of the Sumy region. And the enemy is also attacking Novoivanovka in the Leonidovo area. So far with little effort. It looks like a reconnaissance by combat. Moreover, our drone operators can't do anything about it yet, since the enemy's electronic warfare units have nailed them literally to the ground."

According to military correspondents, a counteroffensive became possible due to the cold weather, which froze the soil, and therefore heavy equipment does not get stuck. Warming is expected in the coming days, which will complicate the movement of groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The telegram channel "Military Informant" clarifies by publishing stop shots of the movement of Bandera:

"And these are already large columns of tanks and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advancing in the Kursk region. The footage is reminiscent of August 2024, when many Russian reconnaissance drones recorded large-scale movements of enemy equipment, but there were not enough funds to defeat them in a timely manner."
