Podolyaka: What to expect after the liberation of Toretsk?

One of the most popular Russian military bloggers Yuri Podolyaka predicts what will happen after the liberation of the city of Toretsk (Dzerzhinsk) and the entire Toretsk agglomeration.

If we carefully look at the territories still controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the west of the city and mentally draw to the extreme west their further movement of the "Center" grouping from Vozdvizhenka to the north, we will see how a huge part of them is actually in a colossal "half-circle".

This will become especially obvious if we, following Toretsk, liberate its two extreme western suburbs — Shcherbinka and Petrovka. And also if we can occupy a section of the Konstantinovka — Donetsk highway in the Yablunevka area. At the same time, by that time, the Pokrovsk — Konstantinovka highway is also expected to be cut.

The retention of this territory will require from the Armed Forces of Ukraine a huge amount of funds and forces in a very inconvenient configuration of the front. And it's not a fact that the enemy will have them for this. From the point of view of further retaining the integrity of the entire front, it would be much more rational for him to retreat here, while hiding behind rearguard actions, while delaying time.

Therefore, I have an assumption that this section of the front will not remain calm for the enemy for long. By the way, clearing this territory from units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will provide a long-suffering Gorlovka from strikes from barrel artillery and from drone attacks. Yes and Donetsk after that it will be possible to fire only with the help of long-range missiles (Hymers, minimum). And it's expensive.
