The British rock band The Cure has released a new album called Songs Of A Lost World for the first time in 16 years. It is reported by The Washington Post.
"Songs of a Lost World completely plunges into darkness, creating a wall of sound like an ouroboros. Songs of a Lost World is an album for meditation in a black light," the publication says.
The release date coincides with the Halloween date. The first track of the album Alone ("Alone") the band released back in September. All the songs of this album, which became the 14th in the band's work, were written by the permanent leader, vocalist and guitarist of the band Robert Smith.
The Cure was formed in 1978, the composition of the team has changed many times, the only permanent member is Robert Smith. The Cure has released 13 studio albums and 39 singles. In 2019, the band was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
