Konstantin Khabensky hospitalized in Moscow

The artistic director of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, People's Artist of Russia Konstantin Khabensky has been hospitalized in Moscow. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.

It is claimed that the actor's condition is assessed by doctors as of moderate severity.

"Doctors diagnosed him with hypertension with predominant heart damage. The probable cause is a rheumatic lesion affecting the cardiovascular system and joints, so the People's Artist of the Russian Federation underwent a number of studies, including on bone density," the publication says.

The telegram channel emphasizes that the Moscow Art Theater refused to comment on Khabensky's condition, he himself is also unavailable for comment.

Khabensky's next concert is scheduled for September 26 in Samara. It should be held as part of a tour in honor of the 100th anniversary of Bulat Okudzhava.
