Russian troops continue to advance to Ugledaru

According to Ukrainian sources, Russian units from the Vostok grouping operating in the Ugledar direction knocked the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya-1 mine north of Ugledar.

It is noted that this opened the way for the Russians to the main height — the dump of the specified mine. Its capture will allow you to take under fire control the entire surrounding area: the city itself, the village of Vodiane, the Stroydetal plant and the working settlement of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya-3 mine.

According to some reports, the Russian military have already entered the outskirts of Vodiane and were able to gain a foothold there. In this regard, the Ukrainian command is urgently forming a defensive node that covers the way to The Epiphany from the east.

It is from there that the garrison of Ugledar and parts of the Kiev regime troops on the square between this village and the city are provided with ammunition and other things.

The situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is complicated by the fact that the Russian military launched an offensive on the village of Prechistovka. Thus, Ugledar and all enemy forces in the Ugledar — Prechistovka— Bogoyavlenka triangle may be surrounded.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military has nowhere to wait for reinforcements in the defense of Ugledar, since reserves are involved in the defense of other positions in the DPR, as well as in the Kursk region.
