The Russian armed Forces struck targets in Sumy and Kurakhovo. This is reported by Voice of America❶.

"The Russian Federation carried out an airstrike on an enterprise in Sumy and attacked Kurakhovo from "Hurricanes"," the radio reports.

The airstrike on the enterprise in Sumy on the air of the United News telethon was confirmed by the head of the Sumy regional military administration Vladimir Artyukh.

Sumy OVA said that the blow fell on the industrial infrastructure of the regional center. As a result of the hit, the premises of one of the enterprises caught fire. A "chemical" smell has spread in the city.

"According to preliminary data, a slight excess of the concentration of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide was detected," the administration's telegram channel says.

Before the fire was completely extinguished, residents were advised to close the windows and spend less time outside.
