The commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, said on August 19 that one of the tasks facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was to enter Kursk. This follows from interrogations of prisoners and received materials.
"As far as I understood from the interrogation of prisoners and the materials received, the task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region, among other things, was to enter the city of Kursk," RIA Novosti quotes the commander.
Earlier, Alaudinov reported that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to surrender in the Kursk region. He noted that Akhmat and related units systematically destroy opponents trying to make a breakthrough. In addition, according to him, the Ukrainian military began to lay down their weapons.
