The Ukrainian authorities are already taking necessary steps to set back the labor migrants flow to Russia and return them to their homeland, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has stated, Ukrinform reports.
As he said, now up to 3 million Ukrainians constantly live in Russia. "Russia is waging a war against us, but still three million Ukrainians, that is, almost every twelfth Ukrainian, are now in Russia. It cannot go on like this," the minister said.
He noted that the Ukrainian authorities will implement their ideas to return Ukrainians to their homeland, so that " three million Ukrainians do not constantly stay in Russia."
Meanwhile, according to RT, the director of the Peacekeeping Initiatives and Conflictology Institute Denis Denisov doubts that Kiev can take serious steps in this matter. "What can Ukraine do? We have got used to the fact that the stupidity of Ukrainian leaders has no boundaries. Proceeding from this, we can expect that barriers will be built, but at the moment there are no legislative initiatives of this kind. The legislation is loyal to this issue," the expert said.
