The Ukrainian Armed Forces have fully complied with a ceasefire for the first time since the end of 2017; no shelling was registered, the head of the Donbass People’s Republic mission to the Joint Center on Control and Coordination of issues related to the ceasefire regime and the stabilization of the situation Ruslan Yakubov has informed.
He stressed that absolute ceasefire on the frontline was observed for the first time since December 27, 2017.
To remind, another truce in Donbass was in force since 00:00 a. m. on March 5. It was coordinated before by participants of the negotiation process in Minsk. For the first time it was breached by the Ukrainian side on 04:30 a.m. on March 5 and was repeatedly violated within the first day. But by the morning of March 6 the shelling stopped.
