Turkey will allocate $9.4 billion for implementation of 55 defense projects. The decision was made following a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Defense Industry under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Participants of the meeting discussed steps to boost the might of the Armed Forces of Turkey following the Olive Branch operation in Afrin.
"The Executive Committee of the Defense Industry discussed and approved the steps to develop, strengthen, and support the defense industry," the administration of the Turkish president announced.
