Ukrainian army keeps shelling Donetsk

On the night of Jan 29, the Ukrainian army shelled the Donetsk Airport and the Volvo Center.

According to the Defense Ministry of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the enemy was deployed in Peski and Opytnoye and used mortars, infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers and rifles. Earlier, the Ukrainians used tanks, mortars, infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers and rifles.

The ministry suspects that this may be a diversionary maneuver for an attack on Mariupol. “The fire is no longer spontaneous and may be a diversionary maneuver,” says Deputy Commander of the Corps of the Donetsk People’s Ministry Eduard Basurin.

Despite the Contact Group’s urges to cease fire, the Ukrainians continue their attacks.
