Leader of Ukraine’s Right Sector militarized nationalist-extremist organization (banned in Russia) Dmytro Yarosh has stepped down.
Here is what he posted on Facebook: “I am personally responsible for everything that is happening inside the organization. Therefore, I am stepping down as leader of the Right Sector. But I will remain a nationalist and revolutionary,” he wrote.
Yarosh explained his decision with his serious wound and the need for long treatment, as well as certain differences with other members of the Right Sector.
As EADaily reported in September, Yarosh said the Right Sector will become part of Ukraine’s Security Service. He said the member of the organization who will not be admitted to Alpha will have an opportunity to work there as volunteers.
