Dmitry Peskov: Rumors on Putin's illness are nothing but 'spring exacerbation'

The Kremlin is quite indifferent to various rumors and speculations on Russian President Vladimir Putin's health conditions, says his spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"As soon as the sun starts shining brightly, the spring appears in the air, spring exacerbations are been fixed more and more often," Peskov says.

"Someone dreams of Sechin's dismissal, another one of government reshuffle, and someone has not seen President Putin on TV for several days running. We treat such exacerbations indifferently and spare no patience answering questions we receive," he continued.

The reason for speculations was laid by an announcement that a meeting of Russian, Kazakh and Belorussian presidents presidents planned for this week will be postponed. Peskov confirmed the announcement.

"Truly, the presidents decided to postpone the meeting for several days," he said.
