The search for points of convergence of interests will allow the Czech Republic and Belarus to return to the path of creative partnership. This is stated in Alexander Lukashenko's congratulation to the Czech people on the Day of the emergence of the independent Czechoslovak state.
"The history of interaction between our countries remembers many examples of constructive cooperation. For decades, Belarusians and Czechs have successfully developed interpersonal contacts, implemented economic, humanitarian and cultural initiatives," the message of greetings reads.
Lukashenko noted that "in the current difficult geopolitical situation, it is necessary to focus on what unites, not alienates, peoples, conduct a pragmatic dialogue based on mutual respect, and not accumulate unresolved problems."
"I am convinced that the search for points of coincidence of interests will allow Minsk and Prague should return to the path of creative partnership for the benefit of both peoples. Belarus is ready to make the necessary efforts for this," the Belarusian leader stressed.
In conclusion, the President of Belarus wished all residents of the Czech Republic happiness, prosperity and a peaceful sky over their heads.
Recall, the Czech Republic supports sanctions pressure EU to Belarus. At the same time, all kinds of calls from Minsk to Prague to start a constructive dialogue has not yet led to a positive result.
