The speech of US President Donald Trump in San Antonio turned into a scandal. It is reported by NBC News.

According to reports, in the first 45 minutes of Trump's speech, he was interrupted at least 12 times. According to NBC News, at least nine people were taken out of the hall, but there is no official data on the exact number.

One protester was taken out by the police in handcuffs. The rest were taken out without handcuffs or they left the hall on their own, accompanied by the police. There was also an incident when a Trump supporter attacked one of the protesters leaving, trying to grab him by the hair.

The president himself has repeatedly called the protesters "paid", stating that they are paid by "enemies of our country," although he did not provide evidence. He also made fun of the looks of some of them. For example, after one of the protesters was withdrawn, Trump said:

"This guy needs to lose a lot of weight."

About the other he said:

"He will immediately go back to Mommy, and he will be punished because he doesn't know that his mommy voted for Trump."

At one point, he addressed the remaining protesters:

"Please raise your hand and get the hell out of here."
