North Korea conducted exercises to launch a medium-range strategic missile with AI. This was stated by Kim Jong-un's sister, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Kim Ye-jung, KCNA reports.
"At dawn this morning, strategic weapons firing exercises were held in the direction of the East Sea of Korea. A medium-range strategic missile was used for the exercises. The head of state personally supervised the exercises of the unit, which carried out an exclusive special mission," Kim Yo Jong said.
Earlier, South Korea, which monitored the course of the exercises, reported that the missile flew more than 700 km. The Japanese Ministry of Defense, in turn, determined a range of 680 km.
The KCNA stated that such differences help to determine how great the enemy's ability to track targets is.
"Whenever we applied the wave trajectory mode to the missiles, the enemy lost sight of the missile after passing the first jump point… They must take into account the speed of the rocket. And it would be wise for them to recall our statements that it is capable of changing the flight path at low altitude and is equipped with artificial intelligence. In other words, this means that it is impossible to avoid this attack," the statement said.
Representatives of the Missile Industry Directorate told Kim Jong-un that recently introduced technologies allow you to set at least four trajectory modes, depending on the type of target and task. The Head of State expressed the opinion that no country in the world will be able to have access to such technology for at least several more years.
As reported by EADaily, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited several defense enterprises of the country. Details were reported by KCNA.
At one of the sites, the head of the DPRK was shown an assembly line of kamikaze drones. Judging by the published frames, the devices are made according to the "duck" scheme, when the horizontal tail is in front of the main wing.
